The Original Budweiser Clydesdale Commercial with "Here Comes the King"
Good evening at the top of the news tonight a rail disaster at Devil’s Tower, Wyoming.
I grew up loving this commercial
My former band teacher, Carroll M. Butts wrote this. As a kid I thought it was cool. As an adult it's impressive and nostalgic. Mr. Butts was just a regular man and a wonderful teacher. When that song is combined with those beautiful Clydesdales, it couldn't miss. You cannot hear the music without seeing those beautiful creatures keeping in step and actually march to the music.❤I love hearing it. It is simply ICONIC!
#euro2024 Budweiser
Love this jingle
Wow!! The power of all those horses!!❤😮❤
It's too bad that Budwiser donated to the trump campaign. After the trump cult protests against Bud lite. Budwiser, you want a dictator I charge of our nuclear codes?
Takes me back to the 70s.
Loved this commercial back on the day! For some reason, I always expect to see Howard K. Smith on the ABC national news after this Budweiser commercial warning us to stay away from Devils Tower in Wyoming due to a deadly chemical spill due to a rail disaster.
Now they have woke crap
It was a better time then. No sexual predators/lying criminals/false idols like Dishonest Donald trying to destroy America.
This is America 🇺🇲
Cute, dated but cute. Not good music but fun nostalgia
Born and raised in St Louis, this song has been part of my life. Back then the Clydesdale's were still in St. Louis at Grant's Farm has been in the Busch family since 1903. They still have the tours. Missouri is very proud of our Clydesdale's !🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎
When I see the A with wings, I think Aerosmith 🥰🐎
We just don't see enough of these commercials❤❤❤❤❤
I love these beautiful horses...i could watch them for hours ❤❤❤
They can’t say they’re leading all the rest ever since some fool decided Dylan Mulvaney should front their product.
they should do this one in 2025 super bowl
Am not a beer drinker but have always loved the Clydesdales, so beautiful! 🥰🐎
The original has to be one of the best they've ever made.
Who sang this
Anyone know who the female singer is?
syivester stallone
Hey Budweiser. Shoukd have stayed with the Clydesdales and puppies instead of "365"days a woman. Your bottom line would be much better.
In 1980-1, I was delivering pizza for Dominos. One night, I delivered pizzas to the horse barn just across the street from the University of Illinois' Assembly Hall. Turned out to be for the Clydesdales' handlers. I hadn't really understood how big those horses were until then. Never did find out why they were in town....
Reject you as a mother
Have loved this for years and still enjoy seeing it.
This brings back so many memories not to mention they put it on Close Encounters of the Third Kind❤👍🏼
I always looked forward to seeing the bud Clydesdale horses and wagon every year
Budweiser needs to bring this commercial back ASAP. This is the best way to overcome the redneck boycott of Bud Lite. Show them just how great this beer is.
I find myself thinking about the beer barrel polka for some reason.
This n the Miller light Xmas commercials r the best ever 👍👍
it's now a sad cautionary tale....
I think I've just been hit by a lawn dart from the 70s. Miss the jingle.
This is in the movie Close Encounters Of The 3rd Kind.
It lives on forever in the 1977 movie, "Close Encounters of the Third Kind".
As a teen, a couple of my friends and I were at the state fair one morning in 1972 right after they opened the gates at 6 am (it seemed like a good idea at the time). Even though the gates were open, almost nothing else yet was at that hour, but then as we strolled around we noticed activity at the barn where the Budweiser wagon and Clydesdales were being kept and their spotlessly beautiful transport rigs were parked. We stood for a long while in very close proximity and watched as the handlers brought out the horses, bathed, groomed, and fed them, and began getting them harnessed up for the day's activities. What beautiful, impressive animals they are. It was worth getting there at 6 am just to watch some of the work that went into prepping the "stars" for their daily appearance schedule. Over a half century later it's one of the few things I still remember about that day.
I'm a soon to retire Anheuser-Busch machinist. I hear this song with great pride. we all work hard to be a part of this historical brand and work hard to bring everyone the best quality beer possible. If your ever in St. Louis stop by the brewery and take the tour. They just don't build them like that anymore. Built and brewed with pride.
Budweiser needs to go back to basics!
The Budweiser jingle and the beautiful Clydesdales always warm my heart. So many memories of going to Cardinal baseball games as a kid. This is advertising at its best!
So cool! WTH happened to my country?!
What a damned shame. Look at Bud now....I never thought the face of one dude could bring down a king.
🙄
Loved this commercial as a kid; I now realize it reminded me of "Those were the Days" by Mary Hopkin ♥
Thanks inbev for taking a great American company and throwing it in the toilet.
Calm down Francis
I remember my Dad and our relatives always drank Schlitz. He said this ad campaign was genuis... when it came out everyone started drinking Budweiser.
Shame that Bud just didn't use this commercial ad instead of making a political statement. Now it's too late.
My how times have changed😢
Boy did they screw up. 😕 They could have just brought this back but no they wanted to be woke and destroy the brand.
🙄
Love this! The idiots that Anheuser-Busch need to replay this for their commercials. How far our land has sunk😢
